Description: Students will learn about binary, convert between binary and letters, and use their knowledge to store letters on a bracelet in binary like information is stored on a computer.

Age range: 2nd-4th graders

Estimated time: 25-30 minutes

Description: Students will learn about civil engineers and various concepts they work with (i.e. degrees of freedom and forces). They will use their understanding of the strength of shapes to build structures that maximize height and strength.
